    The District normally taylors the subject matter to the audience. Common subjects that the District has been asked to discuss include groundwater conservation, water level trends, potential Rule changes, rainfall trends, well construction, and local geology.

    The District was created in 1993 by the 73rd Texas Legislature HB2862) with the local confirmation election occurring in 1999.
